Kanto is known to produce dogs possessing his outstanding working ability, strong nerves, and excellent disposition, as well as his super vitality and conformation. He is many times V rated in trials, and also is V rated in conformation. His working line pedi gree is full of top european dogs, and is well known for superior health and longevity. At eight years old, Kanto has proven this to be true through his continually impressive work as the 2006 WKG Regional Champion, 2nd place 2006 PNW Regionals, competing at the 2006 North American Sch3 Championship, competing at the 2005 German Shepherd Nationals, and was 2005 Southeastern Regional Champion, surpassing many dogs of only half his age.

Kanto has a wonderful temperament that any owner would appreciate. He is very clear headed, with an ability to decipher between the many different situations in life. On the field, his drives to work and perform are outstanding, yet he is able to flip the switch with ease when he enters the household, transforming into a calm, loving family pet and protector. He is a very confident, courageous dog, with steady nerves, and distinctly masculine characteristics. Kanto is well proportioned, with an impressive body, and a large, noble head. He has strong structure, great substance, very good angulation, and a beautiful, powerful gait. He has a dark sable coat marked by excellent pigmentation.

Kanto's sire is Diego Vom Grunwald, with lines to BSP winner Gotthilf Von Der Kine. His dam is Britt vom Hochstadter Wehr SchH3. He is linebred 3-3 on (V-BSP) V Fero vom Zueterner Himmelreich, a widely respected and well known producer of working German Shepherd dogs, and 4-4 on (V-BSP) V Dax von der Kesmarker Tränke.
