Gaia is an attractive and expressive sable female out of Balco
vom Konigswolf and Mira
von der Salztal-Hohe. She has a muscular, strong, and compact body type built for performance with outstanding drives and intensity to match. Currently in the early stages of her training for schutzhund, Gaia has already proven herself to be an impressive, one of a kind female who we believe to have high potential as a competition dog and breeding female in the future.
With her strong work ethic, confidence, high energy, and off the chart prey drive, Gaia is always eager to work and will push herself until she drops. She is extremely fast and athletic and enjoys all three phases of the sport. In tracking she works very calmly and methodically, consuming herself with the job at hand. She shows great focus towards her handler in obedience and very much enjoys the teamwork. In protection, Gaia is very intense, powerful, and pushy towards the helper while remaining balanced and clear headed. She has good active aggression and full, calm, hard grips that come super fast to the sleeve.
Gaia has excellent character and when not working is very collected and calm. She has proven herself to us that she has a very safe and secure nature in all environments including downtown, inside stores, at the park around other dogs and children, and even in a crowded shopping mall. She spends a lot of time in the house and is a favorite playmate of our 2 year old son. She is the total package and matured into just the type of dog that we at Starke Pfoten aim to produce.
Gaia's pedigree is very strong and top breeders around the world have made similar matches with outstanding results. Linebreeding on top producers with 3-3 V Nick vom Heiligenbösch, and 4-4 V Yoschy von der Döllenwiese, gave her some of the best characteristics from these famous dogs.
